   Kinda overrated, but can't help but to really like it myself. The story feels like it could have been so much more without all the useless episodes, but even the side stories in these are enjoyable, and the characters for the most part are memorable. great animation for the time, and great soundtrack for any time, when you watch cowboy bebop it's going to entertain you. The reason I wouldn't call it a masterpiece is because I felt that it could have been so much more. After the epic nature of the fifth episode, I was so ready for an epic ride of a series to commence. But then no more episodes concerning the main plot happened till episode 20 something and it felt like a huge letdown at the end. I really do feel that when the director has such great elements in a series, they should always try to make it the best it can be, and it doesn't feel like that's what happened in Cowboy Bebop.
