The announcement of the second season of the Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya was made in July in one of Japan's biggest newspaper company.

It was not until soon on December 18, a more detailed of the new season was made. However, this new way of the detail was not how people would have thought it would be.

On Tuseday, December 18, the site of the melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya disappeared. The site displayed a fake message saying, "the page cannot be found." Then, a second message over the first message stating the user input a password for a computer program that is starting up. If the user entered the initials of the names of the mebers of the SOS brigade, which are K, N, S, A, and K. When the names are entered, a new page would be open. If the user confirmates to start the program on the new web page that was opened, it opened up another new page that showed the character Yuki listing theproduction credits of the new series.

The disappearance of the website on December 18 at 4 am, which is Japan standard time, is announcing to us that the new plot will take place in the 4th vol of the manga, in The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya.

      hmm, pretty tricky what they made ^^
      even though this is not my favourite it's still considered a good anime, so i'm looking forward to it.

      well, it's obvious Kyoto animation won't air the second season of Haruhi until they're done with clannad. If there are no events that'll stop the airing of clannad, clannad's last episode will air on March 13. So, my guess is that season 2 of Haruhi won't air until after that date.

      But, we'll know soon after March 13 (or even before that), when Kyoto animation makes the announcement of the date of airing.
