Trigun the Movie

Finally, more information has been released about the animated Trigun Movie that was announced a couple years ago. A promotional cover wrapper was included on the fourteenth and final volume of Trigun Maximum. The movie will air sometime in 2009, and will feature a completely new story.
Vash and Wolfwood will be facing off this time around. The story will be a collaboration of creator Nightow and Trigun series director Satoshi Nishimura. Yasuko Kobayashi (Staff in Claymore, Death Note, and Witchblade anime) will be working on the script for the movie. Back again is Takahiro Yoshimatsu who was the animation director/character designer from the anime series, he will be working on character design again. This movie promises to be spectacular for any Trigun fan.
im excited about this. trigun is the first anime i've finished in one sitting.
