Rei Ayanami

Rei Ayanami is a fictional character and one of the three primary protagonists from the anime series Neon Genesis Evangelion, its accompanying manga, the films Evangelion: Death and Rebirth and The End of Evangelion, and the tetralogy of movies Rebuild of Evangelion. She is the First Child and pilot of Unit 00.
Rei is socially withdrawn, seemingly emotionless, and rarely interacts with anyone.
